US Senate Passes Offensively Flawed Health Reform Bill.
Straight Party Line vote, 40 No votes by Republicans and
60 Yes votes by Democrats. The Bill is praised by the big
Health Insurance companies that stand to make Billions,
and condemned as a sell-out by progressives. The US Senate succeeds in proving that it is controlled by the Pharmacy and Health Insurance Corporations and their army of lobbyists.
The Bill now goes to a House-Senate Conference Committee.

August 16, 2009 -- A Free Healthcare clinic was held in Los Angeles by Remote Area Medical. Thousands of people lined up early in the morning or slept in their cars overnight in hope of receiving medical care. Earlier, a similar free health care event was conducted in Virginia.

Help spread the word
Become part of the core team or just volunteer when you have the time. We will need people to table at the Farmer's market, go door to door, work with the Win-Win campaign, write letters, call our representatives and just get creative about informing our community. Volunteer for one meeting, a project, or be a regular volunteer!

Help coordinate or support the WIN-Win Campaign
We are asking for interested people to sign up for this
campaign, and commit to a 6-8 week process of learning
and doing; culminating – if all goes well – in a resolution
or public endorsement of HR 676 from our City Council.
Local officials will learn that national health insurance is
the only reform that provides significant financial relief for
fiscally strapped local government. The volunteer coordinator
will need many helping hands to support them. Volunteer for
a day, a project, or on a regular basis!
