Vancouver SINGLE-PAYER HealthCare NOW FOR ALL - Single-Payer HealthCare is the Better Way...
Welcome to Vancouver Health Care Now!
This website is an educational resource and a witness to history.

SINGLE-PAYER is how most modern countries provide their citizens with health insurance.  The name comes from the fact that doctors and hospitals are paid by one organization, a single payer.  By having only one payer you can simplify the health care system enormously.

Vancouver Health Care Now believes in a
Healthy Community and a Healthy Nation

so we think it is important that you know about

US Senate Passes Flawed Healthcare "Reform" Bill.

Straight Party Line vote: 40 votes NO by Republicans and
60 votes YES by Democrats.

The Bill is praised by the big Health Insurance companies that stand to make Billions, and condemned as a sell-out by progressives. The US Senate succeeds in proving that it is controlled by the Pharmacy and Health Insurance Corporations and their army of lobbyists.
The Bill now goes to a House-Senate Conference Committee.
