NEWS {September 14, 2011}
As many of us are aware, Congressman Brian Baird did not seek re-election in 2010 and retired from Congress. As a result Washington's Third Congressional District has a Republican in the House of Representatives. Jaime Herrera-Beutler tends to vote in lockstep with the Republicans so this means that she needs to hear from you regularly and often.
Rep. Jaime Herrera-Beutler, Vancouver Office, 360-695-6292.
Be sure to call her office and express your views.
Editor's Note: On Nov 7, 2009, Rep Brian Baird voted NO on final passage of the House Health Care Reform Bill, HR 3962. The Bill passed 220 Aye to 215 Nay. See the Vote Tally here.

There is no better testimonial about the urgent need for health care reform than in the massive public response to the Free Clinics held in Los Angeles by Remote Area Medical. More than 1200 Free Clincs are operating in the USA, proving that the problem is severe and widespread. The National Association of Free Clinics is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization coordinating USA Free Clinics.
